THE WAR GRANNIES GO TO WAR

3w, 1m

Donna’s turning 85, and what does she have to show for it? She falls too often, her cake tastes terrible, and her favorite grandson is missing her party to serve in the military overseas. Donna and her best friends (one in a wheelchair, the other with memory problems) escape their assisted living facility to protest the war. Instead of bringing the grandson home, they end up joining the army themselves to go rescue him. A comedy about aging, friendship, and the military-industrial complex.
